Really like the shoe, good material, good flex and looks great. The reason I'm giving a 3star is because the velcro on the 'lip' is only at the end and the other part of the velcro is to far down on the side of the shoe. So if your child wears thick socks it will not close or, like my son, if he has wide feet it will not work, and we ordered a Wide size, returned it and ordered an Extra Wide size and still wouldn't close:( We ended up ordering the NB 633 model for the third time because.velcro is.all over yhe lip so very adjustable. I'm hoping New Balance will make.the.change on the velcro because its a very nice shoe.I do give Amazon a 5star for their great return policy.

Same problems with the Velcro. Very disappointing since we've bought nothing but New Balance shoes for our toddler since he could walk. Guess they don't make them the same anymore.

These are great shoes for my toddler boy. He loves them and they fit nicely. They were expensive but durable.
