Received toddler size too

I purchased size 5 in kids & received toddler size as well & now I'm going to have to wrap these up & explain to my 11 year old what happened after she opens a gift she can't even use. I will then have to call to figure out how this will get corrected also.

Stride Rite never disappoints!

This is the 3rd pair of Stride Rite shoes I've purchased for my granddaughter. All of them have been high quality shoes and nice looking as well. I remember 30 years ago buying Stride Rite shoes for the mom of the very person I'm buying for them now. Back then, they were high quality shoes, but not as good looking as the other shoe brands. Stride Rite has learned to combine comfort and quality with eye appeal! They also come in wide which is a plus...since my little granddaughter has wide feet. And my granddaughter loved the shoes as well..."Pretty!" she squealed when she saw them!

Fell apart

Stride rite usually holds up well, but these ones did not. After a few months, the rubber was coming off all along outside of shoe. And they looked like they'd been worn by like 5 kids. (suede looked super worn) My daughter was only wearing them to school (age 6). Wouldn't buy again even though I love stride rite.

Runs wide

I had to return these shoes. My daughter wears a 13 in most children's keds shoes, and this pair was much too wide. We ordered the 13 1/2 since she is growing, but they seemed much bigger than that, and much too wide. They are cute and stylish, but don't seem to be properly sized, and aren't as thick of material as the other Ked's we usually buy (with the elastic laces where you don't have to tie them).
