My 10 year old was disappointed when they did not have his size at the shoe store ... I promised him we would look on amazon - not only was he happy to find they had his size on amazon, but we got it for 1/2 the price suggested at the store so I am happy too!!

Toddler sandals perfect for waterplay

These KEEN sandals are really nice. The strap closure is a little difficult as it goes through a loop at the top center of the sandal before the velcro adheres, not quite as easy as a simple cross-over closure. I bought these for the kids waterplay and they are great for the quick dry/waterproof quality. The girls fit true to size; but I also purchased a dark color for my son and they were 1 - 1 1/2 sizes to small for him. I would probably buy these again.

Run wide

Well maybe not "wide" but "tall." When adjusted down enough to fit, the strap hangs over the edge. They look like good, sturdy sandals though and my son loves the looks of them. His feet aren't very "thick" but we've never had this problem before. A kid with big, thick feet will love them!

Coming apart after only 1 week!!!! :(

If you want to spend $35 on shoes which your kid will wear only 1 or 2 weeks, these are the shoes to bye! I bought them a week ago and my daughter wore them 5 times and they are looking really bad. The front rubber part is separating from the top, the textile on the one of the shoes is torn from the shiny rim, the shiny cover where the strap is folding trough the buckle is completely gone, the glittery covering is also starting to peel off. Really disappointing for Stride Rite $35 shoes. I just bought almost the same shoes from Target for $14.99. I won't be surprised if the Target ones last longer.I gave 2 stars only because they are pretty shoes, but this beauty unfortunately didn't last longer. :(

Cute but don't hold up!

My daughter wore these shoes one time and already the shiny part came off! I didn't realize it was sewn on to the shoe and not actually part of it. So now they are white shoes with frayed ends of shiny sticking off. I would not recommend. Very disappointed in stride rite.

My daughter loves these!

These have been great for my 21 month old. They are dressy enough to wear with her dresses, but comfortable enough for her to run around in. I try not to let her clothes limit her ability to play so these have been perfect for parties and other days when we want to be dressed up, but still climb, jump and run. I haven't had problems with them falling apart like other reviewers (maybe the quality is inconsistent?) but I do agree they are tough to clean - though for us it is worth it. I'm about to buy a second pair, so that says something about them right?

Only light ups we all agree on

My son is very pickey when it comes to shoes. He was born in summer so he didn't wear any for awhile. Now that he is almost three it's still really hard to get him to try new ones. We found these at that mall one day and my husband loved them. Our son agreed to try them on and once we had them on we realized they were light ups. Light up shoes were one of my parent "never will my child have light up shoes". These are sooo cute though! The puma lights up and it shows the skelton of the cat. We are now ordering our second pair through Amazon. And as for the other comment about them being stiff, I don't agree I think they have plenty of give for a child over 2 years old. Trust me my son wouldn't wear them if they didn't haha!

Great shoes! Run small.

I ordered 2 pairs of these, 1 for my 3-year old son and 1 for my 4-year old daughter. They were ecstatic! They love how the Puma lights up and you can see the skeleton of the Puma. They do run small though. I ordered 1 whole size up. I would recommend doing the same. They are stiff at first but stretch well. Definitely attention getters!

Very stiff shoes

The little lights that light up while the toddler is walking is nice, but it is difficult for the toddler to walk in these shoes since the toe area and for that matter - the entire shoe is too stiff. The toe does not allow for bending.
