We buy Geox for one of our daughters whose feet perspire quite a bit in regular shoes and will emit a bit of an unpleasant oder. This design does exactly as advertised and gives the perfect level of breathability and no oder. What is extra nice is that we live in the NW and you would think that water would get in thru the shoe baffles when she is walking on wet surfaces but that is not the case. I would have rated this shoe a perfect 5 if the extra feature (shoe lights) would have worked as advertised. The on/off switch on the shoe did not work. Again this is not a feature i looked for in the shoe purchase but it is just fair to note that this was an issue despite the rest of of the shoe working perfectly.
