VERY narrow shoe

Issue 1 - this is the narrowest kid's shoe I think I've ever seen. None of my daughter's other shoes are wide but we couldn't even get this one on her foot.Issue 2 - I had to pay $5.00 to return them. Will never order shoes from Amazon again - won't shop for shoes anywhere that doesn't have free return shipping (Zappos). Lesson learned.

Must have for school girls!

These shoes are a must have for school girls. They look great with dresses as well as pants/shorts. I especially like them so that I don't have to think about wether it's "gym day" or not. My daughter has had them for a month and they've held up well thus far. She loves them! The sizes seem right on.

She loves these!

I bought these as a secondary pair of new shoes for my 10 year old sister. I didn't think it would be so difficult to find shoes in a size 2.5 for little/big girls and was disappointed to see that there weren't a lot of options available that would fit; however, I was pleased to come across these. I hardly ever get to see her since my family and I are constantly moving around the country, but she is still at that age where I don't have a problem picking out things I know she'll absolutely love.These shipped quickly and arrived on time and in the condition specified. They fit perfectly and she loved them (as I expected). Thank you!

Good looking shoe.

My son is very happy with these shoes. They look great and seem to provide more comfort/support for him than previous sneakers. He's been wearing them for about two months now and they are starting to show some wear on the front sole and toes, but he wears them almost every day, so still seems like a good purchase.

Poor quality control on this sneaker

I have purchased many pairs of Tsukihoshi sneakers for my kids over the years. While it's true that they are not the sturdiest sneakers out there, that was outweighed by the comfort and light weight of the shoes. This particular pair of sneakers has been really horrible. There is a blue plastic sole tread on the shoe and the front started to peel lose after 2 weeks of light use. Now that it's been 2 whole months of wear, the plastic tread under the heel is flapping lose as well. This poor quality combined with the variable sizing (i.e., they vary between 1/2 size to 1 full size larger so I always have to guess at the sizing) has made me change my mind about the Tsukihoshi brand. Who wants to pay $50-60 for a sneaker that lasts a few months? Even for $30, it's a rip off. My kid got 2 months of use from this sneaker and now I have to shop for another one.

very light and flexible

My daughter has had them about six weeks and they are doing great. They are lighter and more flexible than most sneakers I have seen, which may or may not end up being a good thing. The arch support inside is not fantastic, but they work for my light six year old and she feels secure and able to run and jump in them easily. We've had great luck with Tsukihoshis in the past; I will only say that the ones with mesh on the outside rip and look awful long before they are actually worn out structurally. Fortunately this shoe does not have mesh on it. The only issue so far is that they definitely have an odor (my adorable little girl has sweaty feet!) and these pick up the scent more than some others. They already smell about as bad as Keen shoes come to smell. Its time to wash them! If anyone has great ways to keep shoes from stinking, please let me know in the comments! I am thinking there have to be some insoles or powders, etc that might help.

Great First Walking Shoes

I ordered these Stride Rite First Walker shoes for our granddaughter. I love this brand of shoes for children; I always bought Stride Rite shoes for my children when they were small and was always very pleased with the quality, appearance, and fit. I have continued this tradition with two of our grandchildren. A good fitting shoe that is quality made is very important for everyone's feet. Stride Rite shoes are a wonderful choice for beginning walkers. (I ordered the shoes a little big, but Rachael is wearing them and will be able to use them for some time to come before she outgrows them). I would highly recommend.

I bought these shoes for my 11 mo. grandchild. They fit true to size.He has fred flintstone feet,so i bought 5 1/2 W. He got them and stood up and walked first time.

Really Works

My son was having problems standing up and feeling comfortable enough to walk. After buying these shoes he started walking about 3 days later. They helped stabilize his ankles and strengthen them alot. To me they were pricey but well worth it.
