My mom purchased these shoes practically new off of ebay. My daughter is almost 3 and she is special needs suffering from a very rare genetic syndrome. She does not bear weight on her feet, but we try everyday! She has wide pudgy feet (part of her syndrome) and still needs shoes because first it's cold out and second, she knows how to take off her socks and then her feet freeze! Anyway, I love the fact that these shoes come in half sizes. She is a 3.5 wide. They are so flexible with plenty of wiggle room for her toes to get some exercise since she doesn't get to exercise those muscles from walking. Another great feature about this shoe is the shoe laces. My daughter can take off velcro shoes, but not lace shoes, I double-knot it and it's the only shoe that literally stays on her feet all day! I literally have over 30 pairs of other brand shoes like from babies r us and target for her (mostly all used) but these are the ones I put on her daily. If I could somehow trade all of her shoes for 5 pairs of stride rites, I would in a heartbeat! I really wish that they weren't so expensive as I'd love to get her other colors. These shoes are also perfect for fitting AFO ankle braces in them (which she wears during physical therapy). Stride Rite was recommended by her foot doctor. I'm keeping my eye out for clearances. Buy these...Trust me!!!

I bought these shoes, knowing that they would be the perfect shoe for my grandaughter. when I had my daughter, they didnt carry this type of shoe. i just love these shoes. they look comfortable and my grandaughter can stand up and walk around the couch much better with them on than barefoot. they are very flexible. These shoes also keep my grandaughter from walking on her toes. I would recommend these shoes or any stride rite shoes to anyone. I will continue to buy them as well.

My parents bought these for my daughter just today, and she actually loves them!! understand that before these shoes came along, she takes EVERY pair we've tried off & throws them. She hates anything on her feet. These are a softer leather, which is what we needed since our daughter stands and walks on her toes. she can't take them off and really didn't put much effort into trying. Imagine my surprise when she actually cried later this evening when I removed them. I would recommend these to any parent !!! Not to mention they are adorable as well!! Although on the costly side, they are wonderful !!
