I bought these shoes for my 5 year old who wears AFOs. Needless to say I am obsessed with trying to find cute, comfortable and functional shoes that would accomodate my daughter's braces. I usually buy expensive brands like Tsukihoshi, Stride Rite and Saucony. Sometimes I have to buy boys shoes because there are more choices when it comes to leather sneakers for the winter and fall. I was very pleasantly surprised with the way this shoe looks, fits and wears. I have to say that for the price, the quality is exceptional. The shoes are light, made out of high quality materials and the fit is great. They are deep enough and wide enough to fit my little one's AFO. The lights on the little butterflies are so adorable and fun. My daughter is very proud of her new shoes. I will definitely buy this brand again.

This shoe is well made and stands up to the rough and tumble toddler test. Our daughter has another similar pair from Step & Stride and those are still going strong as well. She's easily torn up many a pair on the playground, but not these. The only thing that would make it better would be a lower price given how fast little kids grow!
