My daughter loved this sneaker as soon as we got it. It fits true to size and is really cute. However, the stitching around the toe is single stitch, not double stitch. My daughter wore these 2 or 3 times before it started coming undone. I exchanged it, hoping for better luck with another pair, but the same thing happened. Completely unacceptable, especially with the price of stride rite shoes. This happened both times after just a few wears. I can't imagine these holding up for any length of time.

This is my second pair (new size) of this shoe and it's hand's down my favorite. My daughter wears them every day and they've held up great. Super easy to put on (my 23 month old can do it herself) and they stay on. When I ask my daughter which shoes she wants to put on, it's always these or her Stride Rite Tulip sandal.

We have purchased this brand of shoe for both of our children and have been impressed with how well the shoes have lasted. We purchased this shoe over a month ago and it still does not show any signs of wear. The colors are vibrant (we have the pink ones) and the shoes seem to grip very well preventing the toddling toddler from falling over.One weakness, and hence the four star rating, was that our child has a slightly 'fat' foot and these are sometimes a little tough to seal over that foot when she has socks on. A nice feature is a little piece of velcro on the tongue of the shoe that allows you to velcro the tongue in place which helps with my childs fat foot. The shoes are easy to take off which is an issue for me as our 17 - 18 month old easily gets her shoes off within a minute of having them put on.Good shoes and other than a small complaint, no issues. We will be buying this brand again.
