I never buy character clothing or shoes for my kids, but this one kept the character on the inside, so I broke my own rule. The frustrating thing about my rule is that character items are usually cheaper (I assume because it's free advertising), but in this case I saved a little money without having a random character plastered all over my child. My daughter loves the polka dots, and they are of good quality. It's a shame they don't come in every size.

So far these seem like they might do well with my youngest daughter. She is rough on shoes. the sole is nice and sturdy and they are easy for her to get on and off by herself. and being black, they dont show dirt! Wonderful! the dots on the shoes are as bright as shown in the picture and don't look like something that will be worn off really easily. I need to buy two more pair for her as fast as her feet grow.
