This is my first time trying Jumping Jacks. The 12.5 wide size fit very well on my son's foot that always seems to be in between sizes. I love that the tongue is sewn to the shoe on one side (the opening side where the end of the vecro strap is not sewn to aid in getting the shoe on). He sometimes struggled with New Balance tongues, getting them to lay straight. He has no problems at all getting these shoes on. It is a nice solid shoe, that looks like it is going to hold up very well. He has been wearing them for two weeks now, and we are very happy so far.

These looked and functioned great when new. But after a few months, the velcro straps are falling apart and the velcro also stopped sticking. This is the first pair of sneakers that will need replacement before outgrown by the child.Additionally, there is no leather anywhere, and the mesh fabric soaks up water like a sponge, so walking through morning dew on the grass means going in the house to change shoes and socks.New Balance sneakers were a better option.
