These sneakers will go well with a lot of our little one's outfits. They appear tough and should hold up with the playground and preschool. It might help others to know that the M (regular) width is on the narrow side. We bought other shoes from other brands at the same time as this pair and the Keds are definitely narrower than the others. We purchased the M width first from another retailer. At first glance, they already looked narrow, without the expected widening at the toe box. We could get them on our child's feet with a little push and the resulting fit was snug. However, we were not comfortable with the extra effort required to get them on (relative to other pairs of shoes). We had never bought W (wide) width shoes for our child in the past but we were glad we went ahead and got the W width for these particular shoes. The W width of these shoes fit like our child's other M width shoes. They do not look wide or boxy. If your child's feet are on the wider end of the regular width spectrum, would definitely recommend considering the W width for these shoes.

Very narrow for toddlers' feet. Do not understand why the wide is not wide. Will not order this type again even though I like the look. Other brands fit better.

Bought this shoe for my toddler because she wears a wide shoe (which is hard to find). Shoe was indeed wide but the instep was to shallow. So If your little one has those gorgeous chubby little feet like mine does these might not be a good fit. Had to return this item. Process of returning was easy, however, the timeline for turn around could be a little faster.
