Will last the whole scholar year!!!!!I buy this shoe every year for my kid. He plays soccer with it 5 days a week in school and it can take the abuse.

This version of the Samba feels just like the classic (maybe slightly more narrow...a consideration for those with wide feet), but with this version, you lose the whale tail tongue at the top. It gives it a more clean appearance and more like what they sell off the shelves in Germany. The price on Amazon.com can't be beat...I would recommend to stock while this version is available!

My kids have been wearing black Sambas for a couple seasons. These are the same as the black/white ones you get in the store, but so much more cool -- they happen to be the local high school colors, so of course my daughter is asked where they came from. Seem to run true to size, so if you know your child's size, these should be the same.
